See my entry for Lunan, Mary. James Perry's niece Mary Lunan married a widower, Thomas Bentley of Frinsbury, KentĀ  in 1803. He had a sister Mary Ann Bentley who died unmarried in 1842 and was living with the Bentleys at Higham Kent in the 1841 census, Mr & MIss Bentley both aged 70 and Mrs Bentley aged 55. Thomas Bentley's will PCC 1844 I haven't seen yet, he may have had daughters by his first and/or by his second marriage. A Thomas Bentley of Sutton Valence married Esther Barrett in 1791 and baptised 6 daughters there between 1792 and 1802. Sutton Valence is about 15 miles south of Frindsbury & Higham. the other side of Maidstone. Miss Bentley was also present at Perry's in the winter 1817-8 when Hazlitt went to dinner there
