HCR diary  28.11.1812 diary typescript has at Flaxman's "the Pordens and Rays" this should be Kays

                      30.4.1813 Mr Kays Bedford St, Bedford Sq

                    21.12.1823 in Greenwich "left my card at Kay's"

                        1.1.1824 at Flaxmans "the Kays and the Franklins" "Mrs Kay looked almost as young as and handsomer than her daughter"

                      7.11.1824 at Greenwich "at Mrs Kay's met Mrs Franklin"

                        7.5.1825  "At seven went to Flaxman's - there were the Masqueriers and the Kays - Mrs Aders came late"

                      25.1.1832  at the Aders thé dansant at the Willis Rooms "The Denmans, Kays etc"

                        3.2.1834  to the Denmans - a party there - Mrs Niven, Aders & Kay, Dr Drewett etc"

The family of Joseph Kay architect (1775-1847 Colvin, British Architects). In 1823 he became clerk of works at Greenwich Hospital. Joseph Kay = St Giles i t Fields 5.3.1807 Sarah Henrietta Porden (1785-1859 daughter or William Porden  DNB 1755-1822 and older sister of Mrs Franklin QV*) some of their children were Mary Ann b 1808 William Porden b 1811 Henrietta Emilia Anna b 1812 Joseph Henry b1815 Ellen Lydia b 1816 Eliza Margaret b1819 Sarah Frances b 1823 Louisa b 1824 (? Henry b 1827). Eliza Margaret married Edward Basil Jupp (DNB 1812-1877) (QV* Jupp)
