meet Ouvry 4.2.1805 & Thos Campbell
Peter Aime Ouvry (see his son Frederic Ouvry DNB 1814-1881) was an under secretary at the Ordnance Office, and brother in law of John Payne Collier DNB 1789-1883. The will of his father PCC 1808 Peter Ouvry of Acton mentioned a daughter Francesca who had married 2.12.1797 at Acton John Henry Campbell, a Major in the Army 1794 who joined the Whig Club in 1798 and died at Ramsgate 9.3.1834 aged 72. Perhaps he was a relative of the poet Thomas Campbell DNB 177-1844 (who was very likely the person Godwin met with or on the same day as Ouvry) but I couldn't make out how
