Gustav Wilhelm Peiper born 31.5.1803 bapt 10.6.1803 Elberfeld Evangelical Church son of Goswin Friedrich Peiper & Johanna Catherine Hoddick. Committed suicide 6.6.1829 see Standard 10.6.1829. Put pstol to his mouth in a field near Charlton in Kent, left a note identifying himself and his age 26 years "living without honour is worse than death". At the inquest evidence was given that he was well off.
