No-one mentioned in will appears to have been family or a relative. One of the execs was his faithful housekeeper Mrs Maria May widow. Among the legacies were £100 to Rev Weldon Champneys sub dean of St Pauls, 20 gns and a violin, bow and case and printed music to Thomas May and the same to Adam Callendar of New Cavendish St, Portland Place (his will PCC 1816), and 10gns and 100 political pamphlets to George Spreckley of Vauxhall. It seems unlikely that he was unaware that his tenant for 1 Poland St was running a brothel (see Walpole, Eliza)
