SOCIETY FOR CONSTITUTIONAL INFORMATION: George Shelley of Whitechapel proposed member 14.3.1783 by John Satchell 2nded Edward Hall, rejected (one of a very few)

Bapt 7.10.1750 Whitechapel son of George Shelley of High St and his wife Susanna. George Shelley = All Hallows London Wall 17.4.1748 Susanna Morley. George Shelley married at Mountnessing, Essex 19.1.1775 Susannah Mabbs (1752-1814).  Buried 19.12.1800 Whitechapel age 50 from Roadside died of fever. His will PCC 21.12.1800 worsted manufacturer of Whitechapel dated 6.2.1800 mentioned wife Susanna and friend Willoughby Davis, tinplate worker of Whitechapel. His children George Mabbs Shelley 1780-1841, Samuel Morley Shelley 1784-1825. George Shelley's brother Samuel DNB 1756-1814 artist was bapt Whitechapel 27.9.1754. His will PCC 4.2.1809 dated 16.8.1805 mentioned his father George of Spring St, Baker St, his brothers William and Captain John, his sister Susannah and his nephew George Mabbs Shelley and asked to be buried at Finchley next to his dear Harriot. This was quite likely Harriot Ann Nott buried Finchley 14.11.1804 an infant from London
