Perhaps William White of King St, Portman Sq who joined Whig Club 5.4.1791, and perhaps the author of A Dissertation on Government by William White Esq printed for J Ridgway, York St, St James 1792 / World 11.1.1793 Old Bailey 10.1.1793 William White Esq gave evidence as a victim of theft against his former servant George Plater. White stated that he lived with his mother, a widow of fortune, at George St, Manchester Sq /  Mary White Land Tax 1792-97 4 George St Manchester Sq, 1798 empty / Boyle's 1792 White Esq 4 George St, Manchester Sq, 1796 Mrs White there / Morning Post 28.2.1798 a William White Esq married at Enfield Elizabeth eldest dau of Robert Stainbank / of the many Mary White PCC wills I checked, the only ones mentioning a William White were PCC 1798 St Geo Han Sq late husband Benjamin (she married him 1767 as second wife) and his late son William (whereas in Old Bailey trial he called her his mother), and PCC 1803 Bath daus Sarah, Martha Sophia, Amelia Caroline, mentioned William White without stating the relationship / the difficulty in identifying him further comes from the many people with same name
