sisters of the deceased Caroline Matilda nee Want, Basil Montagu's (DNB 1770-1851) first wife. They were daughters of Robert Want of the Temple (attorney who died Nov 1777 at his house in Fetter Lane) and his wife Eden will PCC 1782 widow. By 1787 Henrietta was married to the Rev Charles Holworthy and Cassandra to Robert Godby. Elizabeth had married Rev John Smith by 1802 (and probably by 1797). Catherine Eden Want will PCC 1811, Charlotte Want will PCC 1803, and Arabella were all unmarried in 1797

Her husband was probably absent on naval service at the time

Samuel Parr had vanished from Hatton to give space to his newly Gretna Green married daughter Sarah and his son-in-law John Wynne. Wynne's younger brother Julius was 15 years old at the time. See Godwin's letter Abinger c40 f182-3. The 1797 entry should also be coded to Sarah Parr's person record on GD website

an inn 10 miles north of Warwick, still there in what is now Berkswell, Balsall Common. Strange name, maybe it was changed from Charles in Tree, none of the King George's having had to hide in a tree like Charles II did
