Thomas Littleton Holt printer Strand was bankrupt 1806 and was a printer at 266 Strand in 1838. He was baptised in Bermuda 1779 and married Zillah Hughes at St James Picc'y 12.6.1802 and died 8.1851 aged 72 his will PCC 1852 St Pancras. Wilkie who was also present at Phillips that day may have been Thomas Wilkie publisher of the London Chronicle

Later Wilkies have been coded on GD website to David Wilkie DNB 1785-1841 but since his Life by Alan Cunningham makes it clear from Wilkie's own records that he arrived in London for the first time on 20.5.1805 this must be another Wilkie. David had a brother Robert in London but this was more likely to have been George Wilkie bookseller of 57 Paternoster Row, with his brother Thomas Wilkie to 1797 and with John Robinson from 1806. Thomas Wilkie published the London Chronicle 1790-1807

John Varley DNB 1778-1842 married Esther Gisborne in 1803 (see Gisborne) and his friend and pupil William Mulready DNB 1786-1863 married Varley's sister Elizabeth also in 1803 (said to have been an unhappy marriage, but she was an artist herself). John Varley's brothers Cornelius & John Fleetwood, both in DNB, were as yet unmarried. Thomas Hope DNB 1769-1831 was an "enlightened patron of young and promising artists"

William Flint printer Little Green Arbour Court, Old Bailey 1801-1821(British Book Trades Index). He was bankrupt in 1819 and was perhaps the William Flint gent of Highbury Vale will PCC 1832 died 1.4.1832 age 71

This was probably John Teague who succeeded his father John as keeper of Poultry St compter 27.4.1803 and was transferred to the Giltspur St compter (Morning Chronicle 22.9.1804) where he died 17.7.1841 his will PCC 1841. On 23.1.1805 Godwin had visited his former tenant Edward Ball (see Ball) at the Giltspur St compter and was perhaps having twinges of conscience for evicting him, anyway Teague wasn't in and never appeared in the diary again

Victor de Mazet Pontigny son of Henry Pontigny of Little Tower Hill potter was apprenticed 2.2.1819 to Richard Taylor of the Stationers Company. Henry Pontigny potter and glass seller of Hermitage Wapping had been partner there with John Livie (qv) who died 1798. His daughter Clara de Chatelain DNB 1807-1876

James Grant Raymond 1768-1817 (Highfill, Burnim & Langhans). His The Harp of Erin 1807 was printed for Richard Phillips. He died 24.10.1817. He married Frances Hannah Carmichael in Dublin in 1792 her will PCC 1834 widow of Hammersmith
