A possible candidate for the 1798 entry at Chandler's, because Chandler was an artist, would have been William Austin DNB 1721? or 1733-1820. He exhibited at the RA 1776 from a Knightsbridge address, a satirical print of 1784 suggested he lived or traded at Rodney Place, he exhibited RA 1785 from 41 St James St and 1786 from 195 Piccadilly. F Austin jr and miss Christina Austin exhibited at Free Society/Society of Artists 1783-91 and miss Christina Austin at RA 1792 -7 from 19 Denmark St Soho. Christiana Austin spinster of Elysium Row Fulham her will (London Consistory) dated 25.6.1839 proved 27.1.1842, she died 31.12.1840 leaving portraits of her mother and father, a miniature of her sister playing the harp, and mentioning her cousin Rebecca Marks of 25 Elizabeth Place nr Rising Sun, Kennington Cross and her good friend Mrs Jane Bullock. 1841 census Elysium Row Christiana Austin age 60 artist, Jane Bullock age 65 independent means. A Christiana Austin aged 88 was buried at Fulham 24.10.1813. Rebecca Marks Sun Fire 1828 at 25 Elizabeth Place, Sun Fire 1834 widow at 12 Princes Rd,  1841 census at Princes Rd Lambeth age 75, buried St Mary Lambeth 6.9.1849 age 86. A Rebecca baptised 3.9.1760 St Saviour Denmark Hill dau of Richard Marks a painter & Sarah but Sun Fire 1834 said widow.
