His sister Harriet (d. 1809) married in 1805 John Scott Byerley, later Sir John. He was a scientist, gifted linguist, and a mountebank.

Thanks for your comment. I quickly googled Byerley, and saw he was in Debtors prison like Cooksey. Seems to have been most famous for his translation of Machiavelli with comments on Napoleon. In what respect was he a mountebank?

I have a marriage for Thomas who later lived in Wednesbury Staffordshire with a wife Ann Thomas Turner England, Staffordshire, Church Records, 1538-1944 Name: Thomas Turner Event Type: Marriage Event Date: 22 May 1782 Event Place: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, United Kingdom Event Place (Original): Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England Parish: St Peter Residence Place: St Peter Spouse's Name: Ann Cooksey Spouse's Residence Place: St Peter Affiliate Image Identifier: D1157/1/1/26 Could the above Ann be Richard's sister baptised in 1763? I have a potential unbaptised(?) possible son Samuel Turner quoting in Wolverhampton Census for 1851 that he was born in Hoverley, Worcestershire c 1791.Could that be Leigh? Holland was ill and died in St Oswalds Worcs in 1793. Could all be coincidental. Any comments appreciated.
