Probably Woodhouse Crompton a student of New College, Hackney from Sept 1789, subscribed to the expenses of Hardy's trial 27.3.1795, his will PCC 23.2.1808 of Warwick. His father was Samuel Crompton (will PCC 1787 formerly of Gainsborough, Lincs but now of Clapham) and his mother was Hannah nee Woodhouse (will PCC 1817 widow of Clapham) who may have been the Mrs Crompton 16.3.1789 at Miss Williams'. Woodhouse was born 15.11.1771 and bapt 22.12.1771 at Gainsborough Presbyterian. He married Mary Twamley on 11.11.1797 at St Thomas, Dudley. Their children were Mary, Samuel, Elizabeth Ann, Frances & John Woodhouse. He was buried at Warwick Presbyterian on 28.10.1807 aged 36 so the last two entries above cannot be him. His brother John William Crompton proved his will in London on 23.2.1808 and was maybe accompanied by his wife, Martha Webster whom he married at St Martin, Birmingham on 13.10.1801. Woodhouse left a widow Mary, mother Hannah and sister Dorothea.
