Flather senior was probably the father, Thomas Flather who was buried at St Botolph Aldersgate 28.5.1815 age 67 from Duke-st. His will PCC 8.8.1815 dated 18.12.1814 tin plate worker mentioned his daughter Elizabeth his wife Elizabeth his three sons Thomas, James and John, and his friend John Bentley esq of Highbury-house. He married Elizabeth dau of John Bull of Needham Market, Suffolk at St Bartholomew the less 28.6.1778. Their children were Thomas born 24.2.1780, James born 10.6.1783, John born 31.3.1786 and Elizabeth born 22.8.1787. all at 35 Little Britain and all registered at Dr Williams' Library. John was the only son to go to university and became a barrister dying in 1875. Thomas and James stayed in the metal trades
