C Gros was co-author with C V Lavoisne of A New Genealogical, Historical and Chronological Atlas 1807 London published by J Barfield 91 Wardour St, and he edited and revised various works of French grammar especially the works of Jean Baptiste Perrin which ran to many editions through the 19th century.
