Charles Hamilton of Bath proposed Society of Constitutional Information 21.6.1782 by John Jebb 2nded Edward Bridgen

Fairly clearly not the Hon Charles Hamilton of Bath (History of Parliament 1704-86) whose politics would have had to change in his last years and whose Honourable title would probably have been used by the Society. SunFire 1782 Charles Hamilton Esq, Bath. General Evening Post 18.3.1780 Gumbleton Esq married Tuesday at Queen Sq Chapel, Bath, Miss Hamilton dau of Charles Hamilton Esq of Bath. Morning Post 4.3.1783 pictures belonging to Charles Hamilton Esq deceased for sale (may have been hin but) Charles Hamilton Esq of Bath subscribed 1791 to History & Antiquities of Somerset. Other mentions which could have been him (but no mention of Bath) were Charles Hamilton Esq subscr to Fenelon 1768 & 1771, SunFire 1781 Charles Hamilton gent, 3 Edward St, Cavendish Sq, SunFire 1786 Charles Hamilton Esq, Duke St, Westminster, SunFire 1789 Charles Hamilton 73 Queen Ann St East, Charles Hamilton Esq subscr 1790 to Ogden's poem Revolution. Richard Gumbleton of Castle Richard, Lismore, Ireland = Walcot St Swithin 15.3.1780 Frances Ann Hamilton sp otp. From an Ancestry user-submitted tree I gathered this Charles Hamilton may have been the father of John Hamilton O'Hara (who added the O'Hara), an original SCI member of 1780 but who later distanced himself from the Society "when it adopted Jacobin principles", and who was admitted at Cambridge 1775 son of Charles Esq of Crebilly, Co Antrim. Henry O'Hara (History of Irish Parliament c. 1695-1745 which referenced PRONI T/559) had married 2ndly Frances, dau of Francis Hutchinson, Bishop of Down & Connor, and widow of Rev. John Hamilton of Comber, Co. Down.and built the mansion house at Crebilly, which was advertised (Dublin Journal 8.2.1746) after his death to be let during the minority of his son Master Henry Hutchinson O'Hara. (a Charles Hamilton = Ireland 1768 Elizabeth Chetwood). General Evening Post 9.4.1791 J.O.Hamilton Esq of Crebilly, Co. Antrim married dau of Rt Hon Richard Jackson (History of Irish Parliament c.1729-1789). Charles Hamilton may have been enrolled at Trinity College Dublin 1727 age 18, son of John gent of Lisburn, Co Antrim
