But bankruptcy papers 1828 for William Sherwood, Thomas Gilbert & William Piper of Paternoster-row, booksellers and publishers are at Nat Arch B3/4731 & B3/4732. William Sherwood's death was reported in the Sun 7.9.1837 at Holloway in the 61st year of his age. St James Chronicle 12.1.1843 his widow Catherine (née Gilbert) age 58 died 7.1.1843 at Mornington-crescent. They married 3.8.1803 at St Augustine Watling-st by lic bach & sp both of St Faith parish.
