Charles Frederick Walsh of Strand proposed Society for Constitutional Information 22.3.1792 by John Horne Tooke 2nded Sharpe (presumably Richard Sharp as William Sharpe the engraver was only proposed on same day as Walsh)

Frederic Charles Walsh chemist of 100 Strand ratebooks 1782-1809, directories 1785-1791 (1790 as chemist to Duke of York), took apprentices 1792, 1797, 1803. Ads from 1787 to 1802 for Pontefract Licorice, Dr Huxham's Peruvian bark and Walsh's ginger seeds. Frederick Charles Walsh bach of St Clement Danes = Lambeth 30.4.1784 Elizabeth Read otp sp wits Samuel & Mary Read, Charlotte Malcolm, Ronald Macalster. Their children Eliza Sarah bapt 1785, Ann Mary bapt 1787 (=1815 Joseph Racine), Caroline Sophia bapt 1791 (witness at sister Ann Mary's wedding), all at Swallow St Scotch church, Peter Read born 1794 bapt 1797, Sophia Laura bapt 1797, Frederick Forster bapt 1799 all at St Clement Danes. Frederick Charles Walsh druggist of Strand voted 1806 Sheridan & Hood. Morning Post 7.5.1806 Mrs Walsh died at her father's house, Newington Place. Walsh went bankrupt 28.6.1809 and his premises at 100 Strand were for sale in October, the business was continued by J Beard, one of his former apprentices. Frederick Charles Walsh wid = St Paul Shadwell 2.10.1809 Anne Read otp sp by banns (presumably a case of marrying deceased wife's sister). Frederick Charles Walsh buried 5.4.1810 Lambeth.
