Holmes 26.3.1800 at King's / 18.7.1800 Holmes at Drennan's (in Ireland). In Godwin's 1796 list for 1800 / 8.7.1803 vote for Holmes,postman / 5.1.1817 Holmes at Stewart's (with Pinfold) / 2.3.1817 again / 1.6.1817 again / 1.6.1824 Holmes at Lamb's / 4.9.1824 again / 2.12.1827 Holmes at Kenney's / 24.8.1834 Holmes at Caunter's
The Holmes in Ireland in 1800 whom Godwin included in his 1796 list was probably Robert Holmes DNB 1765-1859. Less likely would have been Peter Holmes Esq of Merrion St Dublin (Hist Irish Parl 1731-1802) pro-Union MP though subscr to D R O'Conor 1798 pro-Catholic work. The Holmes at Lamb's twice in 1824 was clearly Edward Holmes DNB 1797?-1859 music critic, who was probably also the Holmes at Kenney's in 1827 and at Caunter's in 1834, and quite likely the Holmes at Walking Stewart's thrice in 1817, where there was generally a music concert. Which leaves the Holmes at King's in 1800, and the Holmes, postman in 1803 unidentified
