I haven't made any firm identifications for his history before and after Old Jewry. A William Mounsher son of Andrew & Anne was bapt 4.6.1755 at Portsmouth High St Presbyterian, and a William Mounsher was buried at St Luke Old St London on 28.1.1831 age 75 of Rahere St, those two fit together for age but that doesn't mean they were the same person, nor the same as the SCI member. Various Mounshers and Mounchers had been ropemakers, sailmakers and pursers around Portsmouth through the 18th century. There was a William Mounsher and his wife Elizabeth at King St, Covent garden in the early 1760s.

A William Mounsher was chosen as secretary to the Veterinary College, London on 1.6.1792, he advertised his candidacy in Morning Herald of 23.5.1792 from 89 Bartholomew Close. A William Minsher servant to Alexander Cumming cabinetmaker of Bartholomew Close was an Old Bailey witness 27.2.1760. A William Mounsher ,married at St Sidwell Exeter 2.7.1792 Charlotte Sophia Mourgue (bapt 16.1.1762 Exeter of Daniel & Mary). Her death at Woodford near London, wife of William Mounsher, Esq. and daughter of the late Daniel Mourgue, Esq. of this city was reported in the Exeter Flying Post of 12.6.1817. Daniel Mourgue, merchant had been naturalized in 1754 and his will was proved 10.9.1765. A William son of Goodfellow Mouncher (master of a merchant ship, see St James Chronicle 7.6.1768) & Jane was bapt 10.5.1761 at St Just, Cornwall. The will PCC of Joseph Mouncher gent of Portswood Green, Southampton dated 17.4.1797 and proved 5.7.1797 mentioned his cousin William Mouncher clerk to Calvert & Co, brewers in London (probably Felix Calvert & Co of Campion Lane, Upper Thames St). That Joseph Mouncher was a friend of the Independent minister William Kingsbury (DNB 1744-1818) and had married Martha daughter of Walter Taylor in 1788 but she died the following year occasioning a famous sermon of Kingsbury's.. In Holdens 1811 directory a William Mounsher was listed as a merchant at 21 Little St Thomas Apostle and also on 1.7.1811 a William Mounsher of Carmarthen St, Tottenham Court Rd, insurance broker and underwriter was declared bankrupt. SunFire 1822 William Mounsher gent of 26 Gower Pl, Euston Sq & 1824 of 6 Euston Grove, Euston Sq. The wills PCC1786 of Elizabeth Mouncher and PCC 1789 of Andrew Mouncher, Lt RN, showed they were siblings of Goodfellow Mouncher. The will PCC 1796 of Matthew Mounsher of St George Hanover Sq showed he had a brother James of Bristol and a brother John whose son William had two daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah.
