Some of the earlier entries were perhaps Henry Townley Ward attorney of Soho Square, will PCC 1810 of Covent Gdn, voted Townsend 1788, Fox 1796 (and steward of Fox's 1796 meeting), Fox & Gardner 1802, from Preston, Lancs, later of the Willows, nr Bray, Bucks. C F Ward was in the list of the Friends of the People 1792 but I have not identified him. The entry of 4.12.1803 at Tooke's can be identified as John William Ward DNB 1781-1833 (an only son) as Tooke stated in his letter to Godwin of 6.12.1803 (Bodleian Abinger c8 f51-2) that Mr Ward was Bosville's nephew, and he was quite possibly the Ward of 1806 as well, and the Ward at Mackintosh's with Madame de Stael in 1813 (and see Ward, William (Lord Dudley). The Ward of 6.11.1810, the two of 1814 with Middleton, probably the Ward (W & M) of 1821 and perhaps most of the other Ward entries from 1809 onwards referred to George Ward bookseller and rag merchant of 24 Skinner Street in partnership with Middleton (Holdens 1811) whose shop was near the Godwins' at 41 Skinner St. His brother Thomas was partner to Coleridge's friend Thomas Poole, tanner of Nether Stowey, Somerset. See Coleridge's collected letters. Perhaps the Ward Godwin wrote to Curran on was someone else, also the Ward DLT of 7.10.1812 suggests an actor or manager at Drury Lane Theatre, and the Ward at Northcote's in 1830 was perhaps more likely the artist James Ward DNB 1769-1859
