Thomas Jervis DNB 1748-1833 Unitarian minister was probably most of the above entries. Sw Jervis on 7.1.1802 (and perhaps some of the next three entries) was probably Swynfen Jervis 1765-1845 bapt Ch Ch Spitalfields 1765 son of Philip & Mary, died 13.2.1845 in 80th year of Tavistock Place Russel Sq, will PCC 1845. A son Swynfen bapt 1797 St Mildred Bread St, mother Maria Anne. On 12.3.1821 at Esher, Swynfen Jervis of Darlaston Hall Staffs married Jane youngest dau of P N Roberts of Esher (she d. 6.4.1833 Dunkirk) and on 11.8.1834 he married Annie Bourne dau of late H Winton esq at Putney. He was radical MP for Bridport 1837-1841. Swynfen Jervis merchant 1791 8 Miles' Lane Cannon St 1798 Basing Lane Bread St 1811 wine merchant 23 Basing-lane. May have father and son confused. His grandfather? Swynfen Jervis 1700-1771 of Middle Temple and Meaford, Staffs was father of Admiral John Jervis Earl St Vincent DNB 1735-1823
