The entry of 23.10.1797 very likely referred to Henry Erskine Johnston who made his London debut in the play Douglas at the theatre that night. Godwin wrote him a letter of congratulation (see my entry for Douglas), so he may have been the caller of 2.11.1797, though he never appeared in Godwin's 1796 list. He had married Nanette Parker in June 1796 (Highfill, Burnim & Langhans) so she could have been the mrs Johnston at Fancourt's in 1800 and the couple may have supped at Sarah Elwes' in 1800 but neither seems particularly likely
