The Barnet at King's may have been Edward Barnet because in 1812 Augustus Butler Danvers instituted Chancery proceedings against an Edward Barnet (National Archives C13/207/21). Danvers was engaged in Chancery suits with a number of the guests at his father-in-law John King's, these may have been "friendly" suits. Boyle's 1800 Edward Barnet 27 Soho Sq & Kensington Gore, Law List 1800 attorney of Soho Sq. Edward Barnett merchant 25 Bread St Holdens 1799 / Edward Barnet attorney 10 Henrietta St Covent Garden law list 1795. In the Morning Chronicle of 20.5.1818 he was said to have some years ago left this country, and the Morning Post of 25.10.1823 announced the marriage of the 50 year old daughter of Mr Edward Barnett, solicitor of America and formerly of Henrietta St Covent Garden to a War Office clerk aged 28 (her will PCC 1851 Margaret Thomasine Tebbs formerly Barnett of Bolton St Piccadilly)
According to the Dict Irish Biog, Henry Dabzac 1737-1790, a John Barnett was assistant librarian at Trinity College Dublin from 1785-1790
