Thynne was the surname of the Marquises of Bath, and Wake had previously lived in Bath, so Mrs Thynne may have been of that family. Dr Andrew Thynne of Berners St MD LRCP was a witness in the Duke of York's case in 1809, and he delivered the child of the wife of Robert Knight (qv) in 1813. He was buried 4.12.1813 at St Mary Lambeth of St Geo Southwark (which means he may have been in Kings Bench prison) but administration of his effects was granted under £800 on 24.6.1814, he died a widower. He had married Helen Long at St Pancras 18.7.1785 and an Ellen Thynne was buried at St Marylebone 12.1805. George Frederick Thynne buried 3.3.1832 at Clapham Holy Trinity age 60 had married Nancy Dartnell at St Martin i t F 16.1.1793, he was insured Sun Fire 1801 at 74 Gt Queen St Lincolns Inn Fields, his will PCC 1832 of Poets Corner, Westminster mentioned wife Nancy son Frederick dau Ann Devon daus Mary, Arabella & Ellen. Samuel Thynne married Catherine Currell 10.12.1801 at St James Clerkenwell and a Catherine Thynne widow of Richmond left a will PCC 1850.
