The funeral in Jan 1806 was of Horatio Nelson DNB 1758-1805 as explained in the GD website event tag but he doesn't have a person record in GD website. The identity of the Nelson of 1805 & 1806 calls only, and that of 1835 & 1836 calls only is hard to find as Nelson was a common surname. If he was a book trade contact there are only two Nelsons in British Book Trades Index, both bookbinders, David Nelson of 21 Kirby St Hatton Garden 1795-1811 (perhaps will PCC 1812) and Thomas Nelson stationer & bookbinder 168 Aldersgate St Holdens 1805 bookbinder 1 Warwick Sq Newgate St Holdens 1811. If he was an attorney he could have been George Nelson of 1 Palsgrave Pl Temple (perhaps will PCC 1829 gent of St Clement Danes) or Joshua Mills Nelson 36 Red Lion St Holborn will PCC 1828 or Richard Nelson of 3 Adams Pl Kings Rd Chelsea (perhaps will PCC 1834 gent of Chelsea). If he was a doctor he might have been Thomas Nelson of 55 Conduit St Hanover Sq Holdens 1805 47 Berners st Holdens 1811 will PCC 1848 doctor of physic St Marylebone, Monk's Roll. Then there was John Wood Nelson of 2 Doughty St Guildford St (Holdens 1805) insurance broker Lloyds Coffee House (Holdens 1811) will PCC 1844 merchant of St Pancras. William Henry Nelson Esq Hern Hill Dulwich (Holdens 1811) will PCC 1833. Richard Alexander Nelson Secretary to the Navy Somerset House will PCC 1820.
