Bryan Waller Procter (DNB 1787-1874) pseudonym Barry Cornwall, married Mrs Montagu's daughter by her first marriage, Anne Benson Skepper on 7.10.1824. DNB says their young son Edward died of scarlet fever in 1836. The 1826 and 1829 entries above (and perhaps others) referred to a different family generally spelt Proctor, Rev George Proctor bapt 29.4.1795 Clewer, Berks of George & Elizabeth married at St Bride Fleet St 2.9.1818 Jane dau of John Dyer Collier, his brother Robert bapt Clewer 20.5.1798 married St Bride Fleet St 21.12.1820 her sister Mary Collier. See will of John Dyer Collier (with whose family Crabb Robinson lodged from 1806 to 1813) PCC 16.12.1825 dated 21.11.1825, he was buried 2.12.1825 age 64 of Strand. In the 1851 census John Dyer Collier's son John Payne Collier (DNB 1789-1883) was a visitor at Robert Proctor's at Gays House, Bray, Berks. Robert Proctor appeared in the 1841 census as a cow keeper in Clerkenwell and in directories as Dairy there, He had previously been the agent for the contractor of the Peruvian loan and travelled to Peru 1822-1824 with his wife and infant son, writing a vary excellent Narrative of a Journey across the Cordillera published London 1825
