Thomas Quayle born 1758 son of John Quayle 1725-1797, from an influential family in the Isle of Man, and Margaret (Peggy) née Moore 1735-1818. He was a bencher of the Middle Temple, he died 10.12.1844 will PCC 1845 of Barton Mere, near Fakenham, Suffolk. As a bachelor of St Brides Fleet St he married on 12.2.1779 Elizabeth Moone sp otp at St Margarets Westminster. Mrs Quayle wife of Thomas Quayle of Barton Mere (presumably her) died 21.5.1831. The member for Preston was John Wood (History of Parliament 1789-1856) and the Cambridge candidate was George Pryme (DNB 1781-1868)
