George Raymond Alum Cantab born 19.4.1796 son of Thomas of Upper Cadogan Place, Chelsea, school Eton, Trinity & Trinity Hall Cambridge, adm Lincolns Inn 21.12.1814, called to bar. He published Chronicles of England (in rhyme) (1842) and Memoirs of R W Elliston Comedian (1844), His father Thomas Raymond Esq will PCC 1835 of Pall Mall East mentioned wife Jane and son George, no other relatives. Raymond was living at Pall Mall East in 1841 census with Jane Raymond age 70, and in 1851 census alone, with 3 servants. In the 1861 census he was at 66 Sloane St unmarried with 2 servants and was buried from that address age 70 at Kensal Green on 20.5.1867. William Rough (QV*) (DNB 1772/3-1838)
