Possibly Thomas Thorp articled clerk 23.8.1773 for 5 years to Thomas Dykes attorney of Shadwell. I found nothing to connect this Thomas Thorp with New Inn except that he was likely to have practiced as an attorney from 1778 and New Inn was a typical address for lawyers
