In Godwin's 1796 list for 1794 but this entry not coded to his person record in GD website, nor is the 1798 entry. In 1794 version of 1796, then in 1796 version crossed out and (presumably subsequently) inserted above
William Beloe DNB 1758-1817. Interesting in light of his conservative politics, editor of the British Critic from 1793. There may have been other Beloes in Norwich but the fact he was in 1796 list and later talked of, tends to confirm the identity with this well-known literary figure
