Probably means to the Boinvilles, or possibly to the Newtons. Hatchet Lane runs northeast from near Bracknell towards Windsor. The Boinvilles are said to have lived at Bracknell but I'm not sure if their exact address is known.

Only instance in Godwin's diary. Quite likely local tradesman Joseph Greated carpenter 15 Turnagain-la, Snow Hill, SunFire 1792, Holdens 1811 auctioneer & appraiser 63 Skinner-st, Snow-hill.  The will PCC 1818 of Joseph Greated builder of Holborn left a property in Snow Hill to his son Joseph Greated and one of the witnesses was John Newsom, 63 Snow-hill

Quite likely John McArthur DNB 1755-1840 seaman and author, as authors often dined with Joseph Johnson even if he did not publish them. In Holdens 1811 Directory there were two Macarthurs (both Mr John) in the Court section: in the Trades section were a bookbinder, an innkeeper, a shoemaker and a pilot

 

Travers

Only appearance in Godwin's diary, but quite likely Benjamin Travers DNB 1783-1858 surgeon. He had recently married Sarah daughter of William Morgan DNB 1750-1833 and was a colleague of Henry Cline DNB 1750-1827, both acquaintances of Godwin. The only other Travers in Holdens 1811 directory in London were Joseph Travers Esq (a City grocer), two watchmakers in Clerkenwell, and a shoemaker.
