GODWIN DIARY: 14.11.1805 at theatre adv Heath (& Blake).

GD website has coded this entry to Arthur Blake but it is possibly more likely to have been the famous William Blake if Heath was his fellow engraver James Heath. Blake (presumably Arthur) appeared in the 1794 version of Godwin's 1796 list for 1794 but was left out of the 1796 version.

GODWIN DIARY: In Godwin's 1796 list for 1790 as Sharpe followed by Gram crossed out and Rd inserted above before Sharpe, and in 1794 version as Sharpe, hatter. Richard Sharp has a person record in GD website but the 1796 entry is not coded to it. The Gram looks like Godwin confused him while making the list (see Sharpe, Granville)

Mercier 16.10.1788. In Godwin's 1796 list for 1788 and in 1794 version. The 1796 list entry is not coded to the person record (Charles Andre Mercier) that the first entry in the diary is coded to.

In Godwin's 1796 list for 1788 Grose, also in 1794 version. Not in Godwin's diary for 1788 although the two names before it in the 1796 list and all those after it were.

Francis Grose DNB 1731-1791

27.4.1788 see baron Fox (in Kensington Gardens). In Godwin's 1796 list for 1788, and in 1794 version. The GD website for some reason identifies this person in its event tag instead of in a person record and the entry in the 1796 list is uncoded

Henry Fox DNB 1773-1840, only 15 years old but his father had died while he was young and he was already baron Holland

14.07.1788 see Canning. In Godwin's 1796 list for 1787 Canning, and in 1794 version. George Canning has a person record in the GD website but the 1796 list entry has not been coded to it.

22.1.1789 at Robinson's / 24.1.1789 at Hamilton's with almost the same company. In Godwin's 1796 list for 1788 as Tho Warton and as Warton in 1794 version.

In Godwin's 1796 list for 1788 and in 1794 version. Has person record in GD website but 1796 list entry not coded to it

William Russell DNB 1746-1793 wrote History of Modern Europe. There are two diary entries that might be him but are more likely Dr Russell (see Russell, Patrick) 10.8.1790 and 31.3.1793
