Gattie 29.4.1799 at G's head with Suett, Sedgwick &c

If Suett and possibly Sedgwick were actors, Henry Gattie DNB 1774-1844 would be in context, but according to the DNB he made his debut as an actor at Bath in 1807. William Gattie of Brompton Row Middlesex will PCC 1814 had a perfumers and combmakers business. See also my entry for Gatty

Highfill, Burnim & Langhans have a Thomas Sedgwick d.1803 who was an ironmonger of Budge Row, Cannon St who performed at Drury Lane Theatre, (like Richard Suett). Also possibly James Sedgwick DNB 1775-1851

Caleb Whitefoord DNB 1735-1810 may well have been at the RA exhibition in 1799. His son Charles was born 1797 before his marriage, after which he had a son Caleb born 1805 who became rector of Dunford, and twins Charles & Harriet born 1807

Robert Townson DNB 1762-1827 in London from 1797, published Travels in Hungary 1797, Philosophy of Mineralogy 1798, Tract's & observations in natural history & physiology & poor man's moralist 1798. The brackets suggest Godwin didn't meet Townson but talked about him with, or borrowed one of his books from William Nicholson

see Villeneuve. Robert Tyler of St James Piccy jeweller = 26.6.1771 St Marylebone Mary Ann Villeneuve sp otp by lic wit Geo Villeneuve. Since Mrs Tyler called on Godwin out of the blue three weeks after Godwin met Villeneuves at James Perry's the above marriage may be relevant
