Probably Charles Law bookseller 13 Southampton-row & 13 Ave Maria-lane. Several of the above calls were in a round of booksellers, but others like the calculations in 1809 suggest a more particular business arrangement

Wilkie, George

Both of the above entries have been coded in GD website to David Wilkie painter DNB 1785-1841 but as they both come in strings of booksellers Godwin was calling on they should clearly belong to George Wilkie bookseller, partner with John Robinson at 57 Paternoster-row (Holdens directory 1811)

Coded in GD website to John 'Walking' Stewart DNB 1747-1822, but should be Rev John Stewart of Charterhouse. Wife Eliza, dau Louisa married Francis Eccles Barker of Admiralty Office (Cornish Archives TF/2649)

The 1809 call was in a string of booksellers Godwin visited so probably a bookseller. From bbti Thomas Williams at 10 Stationer's-court (or Williams & Co hard by it in Ave Maria-lane, in Holdens directory 1811 but not in bbti) were the most likely, Ewan Williams at 11, Strand was a bit further afield There was also a Thomas Williams at 156 Leadenhall-st up until 1809.
