sleep at Stump's 2.4.1805
Godwin took tea at Charlotte Smith DNB 1749-1806 at Tilford, Surrey then slept at Stump's so this was probably the name of an innkeeper or neighbour. John Moon Stump son of Thomas & Elizabeth was baptised at Peper Harow 23.9.1798 a couple of miles from Tilford. There was also a Thomas Stump & Mary in nearby Farnham and a Thomas Stump & Ann in nearby Godalming

Perhaps Thomas Medland DNB 1765-1833 engraver. Or William Morton Medland whose Collection of Trials was published by Badcock in 1803

Probably Daniel Augustus Beaufort DNB 1739-1821 whose daughter Frances Ann married Richard Lovell Edgeworth DNB 1744-1817 at St Anne Dublin on 31.5.1798 or perhaps his son Francis DNB 1774-1857
Devoy calls 28.3.1805
A fairly common name in Ireland. Walter Devoy of Rotherhithe was apprenticed as a shipwright in 1767 and his son George born 1782 was admitted citizen of London in 1804 and married Catherine Sadler at St Botolph Bishopsgate 8.3.1805. He appeared in directories as a lighterman in Bermondsey 1822. His son George Atkinson Devoy was born 1819 Bermondsey, his will PCC 1853.

Probably Equitable Assurance Office, Bridge St, Blackfriars. See my entry for Cooper. The IO could have stood for Invalid Office, but perhaps it was just insurance office, and the same one.

Thomas Littleton Holt printer Strand was bankrupt 1806 and was a printer at 266 Strand in 1838. He was baptised in Bermuda 1779 and married Zillah Hughes at St James Picc'y 12.6.1802 and died 8.1851 aged 72 his will PCC 1852 St Pancras. Wilkie who was also present at Phillips that day may have been Thomas Wilkie publisher of the London Chronicle
