17.7.1795 tea at Amelia Alderson's with John Walker & Capt Hamilton. adv  Dyer. Miss Alderson was perhaps staying with the Batty's but Godwin didn't mention them. An unmarried lady having four random gentlemen to tea was perhaps a bold and unusual event.

15.7.1795 Dyson & W call. Since Godwin called on Wordsworth the previous day, this W seems very likely to have been Wordsworth

7.6.1796 sup with W at Montagu's. Since Wordsworth had already been named in full that day, this was certainly him

This could be Bertie Greatheed's son Bertie, then about 14 and destined to die at 23. Perhaps Godwin assumed the name was short for Robert, while it was actually a surname being used as a christian name, a very common practice in those days, See Bertie Greatheed DNB 1759-1826

James Eyre married Charlotte Harding bapt 1762 Solihull dau of Judd H surgeon & his wife Elizabeth (nee Hunt marr at Stafford 1753). This may be one of at least 4 of her brothers. Judd Harding surgeon of Tamworth will PCC 1780.
