His will PCC 1814 Henry Watson Powell, General in HMArmy of Warwick. Took part in the 1790 Warwick meeting against dissenters and voted Villiers (pro Pitt) in 1792 Warwick poll. Died 14.7.1814 at his house near Lyme, Colonel of 15th regt of infantry
 

Craven, Berkeley

9.10.1794 B Craven at Johnson's. In Godwin's 1796 list for 1794 as B Craven and in 1794 version as Berkeley Craven.

Berkeley Craven (will PCC 1836) brother of Lord Craven so brother in law to Robert Augustus Johnson. (see Godwin, Harriet) and Harriette Wilson's Memoirs

Sir John Hamilton MacKill Dalrymple DNB 1777-1853. Married 23.6.1795 at Kenilworth Henrietta, eldest daughter of Rev Robert Augustus Johnson; she d.1823. He served in Flanders 1794-5 (presumably after October). Whig MP for Midlothian from 1812

Robert Augustus Johnson 1745-1799, member of Lunar Society (see Birmingham Archives letters to Matthew Boulton) married Anna Rebecca, youngest sister of Lord Craven (she married 1st at Binley Warwicks 10.6.1766 Edward Ludford Taylor and 2nd at Ogbourne St George, Wilts 21.1.1773 RAJohnson). See Bodleian Ms. Don. c. 191, 192, 195 & b.40/1-2.

Bird, Wilberforce

8.10.1794 dine at Bird's  / 15.1.1795 call on Wilb Bird / (and perhaps) 26.2.1799 Bird at Mary Robinson's. In Godwin's 1796 list for 1794 as W Bird, and in 1794 version as Wilberforce Bird.

Wilberforce Bird 1758-1836 (History of Parliamnent) silk merchant of Little Park St Coventry & The Spring, Kenilworth, MP for Coventry 1796-1802, bankrupt 1804. Parr reminded Godwin of Bird's having paid part of his coach hire back to London in a letter dated 9th Jan (Abinger c.15 f.60 - year must be 1795) and Godwin called on him at Wood St Cheapside a few days later.
