His brother Sir Claude Champion de Crespigny born 1734 will PCC 1818 had "the honour of receiving the Prince Regent" (Burke's Peerage de Crespigny) at his Camberwell home (and so perhaps the most likely companion of the Prince's ex-mistress Mary Robinson) made a baronet 1805.…

None of these are coded to a person record in GD website but they are probably all Joshua Cristall DNB 1768-1847. The last three are all in the company of Dawe and two of them at art exhibitions. The first one might have referred to Cristall's father or elder brother but maybe the mr was used in an attempt to distinguish him from his sister Anne, for whom Godwin possibly used plain Cristal (or Christal) elsewhere

The will PCC 1797 of Mary Allsopp of Leicester made her goddaughter Elizabeth Croft executrix and residuary legatee dated 27.9.1796 with a  note "send to Mrs Chawner 10 Hart St Bloomsbury to tell Elizabeth Croft she is my executor". She was perhaps daughter of Herbert (?) Croft who married Miss Chawner 1769. The will PCC 1811 of Matthew Crotty of Cloak Lane, St John Baptist, London dated 1.3.1810 left all to his wife Rosetta and was proved by her on 11.7.1811 after Lewis Goldsmith of Rathbone Place and Thomas Wardle of Cloak Lane merchant had sworn to the handwriting. Crotty has married Rosetta Magnus at St Mary le Strand on 15.8.1796, their daughter Rosetta was baptised 1800 St Andrew Holborn. Mrs Crotty married secondly Henry Percy Hamer Esq 52nd foot of St Martin i t Fields bachelor on 6.3.1814 and one of the witnesses was Lewis Goldsmith
