Maxwell fist appears in Thale p256 as a member of the Executive Committee of LCS on 2.7.1795. He remained on it , scoring high in ballots from the General Committee, till he resigned on 9.9.1795. John Maxwell cheesemonger of 39 Broad St Bloomsbury was on list for receiving subscriptions and signatures 12.11.1795. He was secretary of Div 17 on 2.10.1797 and 5.2.1798.
