call on Cosway 20.3.1802
There were few people of this surname in London so it is reasonable to suppose that this was Richard Cosway DNB 1742-1821 artist but it was a one-off appearance in Godwin's diary
call on Goldsmith with McAdam 16.3.1802 / 19.3.1802 sign with Goldsmith & McAdam
The event tag on 19.3.1802 in GD website suggests this related to Godwin renegotiating his tenancy. See my Goldsmith entry for Godwin's neighbour Charles Goldsmith. John Loudoun McAdam DNB 1756-1836 roadbuilder is an unlikely possible, becoming settled in Bristol at this time. The name was surprisingly rare also in the variant McAdams, most London instances I found were paupers. William Mackadam glover of Church Row Strand voted Fox 1784. PCC 1815 George Craig MacAdam physician to Forces Malta

Robert Spankie DNB 1774-1842 lawyer, reporter on Perry's Morning Chronicle (DNB). He did have a brother William baptised at Falkland, Fife in 1777 but I have found no more on what became of him. The youngest brother James Shiells Spankie 1782-1821 was in the Madras Army
Garver 3.3.1802 at Joseph Johnson's
A rare name and when it turns up it is often a mistranscription, e.g. of Guiver. The only instances I have found were John Garver, constable of Hackney in 1818, and Nicholas Garver grocer of Boston Massachusetts 1823. Possibly a German visitor called Garve
