SOCIETY FOR CONSTITUTIONAL INFORMATION Mr Thomas Campbell of Princes St, Leicester Sq proposed  27.4.1792 by Walsh 2nded Tooke & Mr Hector Campbell at the Neckinger, Bermondsey proposed SCI 9.11.1792 by Watts 2nded Rae. Both these Campbells in SCI were chemists (as were Walsh & Watts who proposed them). Thomas' will PCC 1810 surgeon & apothecary, Hector's will PCC 1831, Doctor of Medicine.

12.12.1793 call on Mrs Hoy.

Richard Hoy honey merchant of Piccadilly voted for Tooke in 1790. Morning Post 26.10.1804 mentioned Mrs Hoy at her honeyshop 175 Piccadilly. Morning Post 28.11.1815 died at her son's house Walthamstow Mrs Hoy aged 87. Hoy was also the name of the manager of the Worcester theatre (Derby Mercury 15.9.1803)

William Wingfield of Lincolns Inn 1773-1858 (History of Parliament), Friend to the Liberty of the Press 1792/3, Friend of Freedom 1795, friend of John Bellenden Gawler he testified in Lord Valentia versus Gawler 1799 adultery trial. Had a brother who changed his name to George Wingfield Sparrow

Johnson, Richard

R Johnson was in Godwin's 1796 list between Pope 30.11.1793 and Tresham 14.12.1793, and in 1794 version (and Joseph Johnson was strangely absent from 1796 list). Richard Johnson (History of Parliament) 1753-1807 of 104 Pall Mall was a 'nabob' MP, son of Dr Johnson of the Hague, he married 1.3.1792 Sophia daughter of John Courtenay MP, and his sister Mary (1740-1827) married Alexander Blair (died 1816). His most frequent guests were the Courtenays and Mackintosh, the Blairs appear twice as does una Italiana, and most of Godwin's visits are for tea.
