3 Swans 4.6.1797 at Horseman's Oxford / 6.11.1810 at Ward's (with Coleridge & Middleton)
Godwin's letter to Mary Wollstonecraft (Abinger c40 f168) referred facetiously to "Mr Swan and his two wives or sisters". Unlike the others Godwin met at Horseman's, there was no Swan at Oxford University at that time, the nearest in Alum Ox being Abraham Swanne son of Richard of Raphoe Ireland cleric, adm 17.12.1784 age 17 BA 1789. Maybe it really meant some swans rather than humans.

Templeton 29.5.1797 adv at Bail M(arshall)
John Henry Templeton 5th Baron Templeton married 7.10.1796 Mary daughter of John Montagu 5th Earl of Sandwich (see Sandwich). Godwin went with Basil Montagu, illegitimate son of the 4th Earl of Sandwich, to bail James Marshall. At present I don't know where or what Marshall's offence might have been, but it does look as if Basil Montagu asked his half brother, and his son-in-law, both peers of the realm, to come along, and that must have added considerable weight in Marshall's favour

Hemry Clifford DNB 1768-1813 Catholic radical lawyer active supporting Burdett in 1802 Middlesex election and in 'Old Price' theatre riots 1808. His parents were dead by 1787 and he didn't marry till 1813 so the plural at Tooke's 16.6.1799 may include a brother, perhaps Thomas Hugh Clifford his older brother
