The identified person record for Restif exists in the Godwin Diary website but the three diary appearances are still coded as unidentified. Known as Restif de la Bretonne he is now a bit of a cult figure, maybe the French William Blake

The 'write to' entries may be William Temple Franklin who died Paris 25.5.1823 grandson of Benjamin Franklin DNB 1706-90 and had been his secretary in Paris and published his works after his death.

Godfrey Bosville will PCC 1784 was William Bosville's father. His will mentioned his wife Diana (her will PCC 1795) & children William (his will PCC 1814 unmarried and no natural children mentioned), Thomas Blackett (his will PCC 1793), Diana Elizabeth wife of Alexander Baron Macdonald & Julia (her will PCC 1833) wife of John Viscount Dudley & Ward (his will PCC 1788).
