I think all the above entries referred to John King's wife the Countess of Lanesborough. Another possibility would be her son by her first marriage Lord Lanesborough, but I think that unlikely. At the two dinners at Lanesborough's at least half the guests also appeared at King's dinners. Covered by event tag on 25.7.1800 in GD website but not coded to a person record. The action which Godwin attended (according to the Dublin Evening  Post of 5.8.1800) was in fact Lattin v Milliken, the printer of Duigenan's pamphlet, at the Court of Exchequer and damages of sixpence and costs of sixpence were awarded by the jury

Valentine Lawless (Lord Cloncurry) DNB 1773-1853, who was imprisoned at this time, in 1800 had two unmarried sisters, and one sister married to Thomas Whaley (see Whaley) who was also present at this dinner. Valetina Letitia was to marry in Merrion Row June 1801 the Hon Francis Nathaniel Burton, and Charlotte Louisa married Edward Plunkett 4th Baron Dunsany in 1803. Thomas Townley Macan (1770-93) from Dublin had been law student at Lincolns Inn but was confined for debt, then imprisoned in Newgate for 3 years from 16.7.1792 for a conspiracy to blow up the Kings Bench prison along with another Irishman Rev Richard Burgh, and Capt John Cummings, John Davis and John Bourne (Nat Arch HO42/21/142 & TS11/780). On 3.11.1793 the Public Advertiser reported his death in Newgate, of the same bout of gaol fever that killed Lord George Gordon.

Very likely the same person who first appeared as Macdonald adv. at Frost's Newgate on 7.8.1793 and was in Godwin's 1796 list immediately after C Pigot, (whom Godwin also first met that day), as Macdonald with the 'ald' crossed out and 'nel' inserted above and then crossed out and Macdonald also crossed right through. Macdonald appeared again at Tooke's acquittal 1.11.1794 and adv. at Gerald's 12.3.1795. GD website has coded this to Norman Macleod DNB 1754-1801 citing the DNB that he went on a jaunt to Ireland in 1800, which failed to lift his spirits. The only other Macleod I found in Ireland in work notes below

Pretty clearly Richard Martin Hist of Parl 1754-1834, though no reason to think he was the caller of 1810 (see also Martin). On my way to identifying him I came across Nicholas Martin of Ross, Galway died 1811 (Burke's Irish Families) who may have been the Nicholas Martin Esq who stood in the pillory opposite the Royal Exchange Dublin, pursuant to his sentence (Morning Post 20.10.1803) which must have been in connection with the 1803 rebellion, but I could reach no Dublin…

He was probably a lodger in the house of John Smith appraiser (see Smith, John at Joseph Godwin's) who was listed for that house in the rate books from 1800 to 1807. The first and third entries above were in a list of calls that included Godwin's brother Joseph, who seems to have assisted Godwin in mamaging the Primrose Street houses, and in the first case Edward Ball (see Ball), another of the tenants.
