Juliana Frances Bellamy spinster of Edmonton began a Chancery suit (Nat Arch C 13/14/3) 10.3.1802 against John King of Portland Place and the Marquis of Donegal, referring to a marriage bond to the tune of £40,000 made between her and the Marquis, then Lord Belfast, which was entrusted to King. In King's reply he said that Miss Bellamy had boarded in his house in October 1793 and some years previously and was appreciated for her singing and piano playing. The contract she made with the Marquis was invalid…

Probably Antonin Louis de Belsunce de Castelmoron born 1741 (Dictionnaire de Biographie Francaise) which says he emigrated in 1791 and then loses track of him, while the Dictionnaire de la Noblesse Francaise says he died in 1770. The will PCC 1797 of Isaac Bence merchant of Bristol mentioned Charlotte widow of his late son Isaac Bence and their son Isaac. In Ann Godwin's letter of 1805 (Abinger c.9 f2) she says of Mr Benford (who had just died) "he was a trustee for a 150 3 per cent stock for me had been ill ever since Mr Jacob died' (see Jacob, Joseph)

These two entries should be added in the GD website to the person record of Elizabeth Ogilvy Benjer DNB 1775-1827. The Benjers of the 16.6.1803 entry, which is coded to her, perhaps also included her mother Mary. The first entry on GD website was to Benjers on 16.6.1803 and the plural probably included her mother Elizabeth Benger widow who outlived her and proved her will on 14.3.1827 as universal legatee

Perhaps Richard Newton Bennett Dict Irish Biog 1769-1836. The 1820 entry was with the Beresfords, connections of Hamilton Rowan so quite likely the same Bennet as with Curran. H G Bennet in the last two entries was probably Henry Grey Bennet DNB 1777-1836 politician. Other Bennets in Ireland in 1800 were James Bennet MD of Cork subscr to Cervantes…
